The Celebrity Cookbook has won the best fundraising book in the UK award as part of Gourmand International’s annual competition to find the world’s best food publications. Produced by marketing services provider Communisis, the book has raised more than £20,000 for The Prince’s Trust in the last six months.
The cookbook, which includes favourite recipes from more than 60 celebrities such as Arnold Schwarzeneggar and David Cameron will now go on to the world finals where it will be up against the best charity cookbooks of 2010 from around the world.
The winner of the Gourmand International prize will be announced at The Paris Cookbook Fair in Paris on 3 March 2011.
The Celebrity Cookbook was masterminded and produced by a team of corporate fund raisers from Communisis as part of the national Million Makers competition, a corporate challenge run by The Prince’s Trust to raise money for the charity.
The book is priced at £11.99 and is also available as an eBook and via a digital app.
