The Centre for Social Justice is inviting entries to its annual CSJ Awards from local poverty-fighting organisations and initiatives across the UK.
The awards give £10,000 to outstanding “local community-based charities and voluntary organisations that can show they are effective, innovative and compassionate”.
Previous winners have been involved in areas such as youth work, alternative education, relationship counselling, street gang intervention, homelessness, and addiction treatment.
The closing date for entries is 31 January 2011.
