People across the UK have raised more than £3.2 million for Macmillan Cancer Support through JustGiving during the charity’s 2026 Coffee Morning campaign, according to JustGiving. More than 20,000 fundraisers have taken part so far, and both the average donation and the number of donors per fundraiser are higher than last year.

As Macmillan’s online fundraising partner for Coffee Morning, JustGiving provides branded fundraising pages and QR codes in Macmillan’s fundraising packs. New for 2026 were downloadable certificates to recognise hosts, and a feature that let organisers add offline donations to their online total. The official date was 25 September 2026, though hosts could run an event on any date.

“Coffee Morning is proof that a simple idea can have an extraordinary impact. In homes, workplaces and communities across the country, thousands of people are turning time spent together over coffee and cake into vital support for people living with cancer.”

Fiona Wilkin, Senior Marketing Manager at Macmillan, said the campaign has raised £330 million since it began in 1990, and noted that almost 3.5 million people are now living with cancer in the UK.
