Hannah Ingram-Moore is opening plenary speaker at Fundraising Convention Online
Hannah Ingram-Moore, daughter of the late Captain Sir Tom Moore, will be the opening plenary speaker at this year’s Fundraising Convention Online.
The co-founder of The Captain Tom Foundation will launch the live event on 27 September at 9.30.
She will share the story of being part of ‘The World’s Greatest Philanthropic Lightning Strike’ that saw her father raise £38.9 million in three and a half weeks for NHS Charities Together, in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic, with donations from 163 countries.

She will talk about how this had an impact on her family, the creation of The Captain Tom Foundation and its plans for the future.
Hope and kindness
Ingram-Moore, together with her father and family, created The Captain Tom Foundation so that they could continue to raise funds and highlight the values that mattered to her father, including hope and kindness.
For example, the Foundation is raising awareness of the significance of different generations working and living together, which has led to the WHO creating a global conversation and webinar on ageism.
Ingram-Moore recently coordinated the Captain Tom 100, on what would have been his 101st birthday, which raised £1.3m in three days, involving over 1,000 charities. She is also a business strategist and growth expert who helps organisations achieve positive change around gender equality and representation.
She jointly received the George H.W Bush Points of Light Award and was asked to become a WHO Ambassador.
