EasyJet passengers raise £564,893 for Anthony Nolan Trust
Onboard collections by cabin crew from EasyJet passengers to and from Europe in August and September have raised £564,893 for leukaemia charity the Anthony Nolan Trust.
As part of the campaign the Anthony Nolan Trust teamed up with bone marrow registers in France, Germany, Italy, Spain and Switzerland. Funds raised will be distributed to help ensure thousands of bone marrow donors are recruited throughout Europe.
The charity hopes that many of the seven million passengers who will have heard the in-flight announcements will be encouraged to join a bone marrow register as a result.
