ODEON adopts NSPCC and Variety Club as official charities

Howard Lake | 5 November 2007 | News

ODEON has announced NSPCC and the Variety Club Children’s Charity as its two official charities, as the cinema chain plans to increase its fundraising work and create a new national Charity Team.

The two charities – with whom ODEON has long-standing relationships already – will benefit from initiatives across the country as the cinema chain works towards raising a target of £250,000 over the next 12 months. Efforts to reach the fundraising goal will be coordinated by a newly created national Charity Team, with ODEON team members working as Charity Champions across the country to organise special events and competitions to raise funds.

As well as supporting NSPCC and the Variety Club nationally, ODEON cinemas will continue their work with local charities.
