MyDonate partners with Bupa Great Run and British Gas Great Swim Series

Online fundraising service BT MyDonate has been selected as the fundraising partner for both the Bupa Great Run and British Gas Great Swim series in 2012. These events raised over £50 million this year for various charities.
The Bupa events will involve over 450 charities and more than 200,000 participants, with events taking part in Birmingham, Manchester, Newcastle, Edinburgh and Portsmouth. The Bupa Great North Run is the world’s biggest half-marathon: in 2011 54,000 runners took part.
Fundraising for the events via MyDonate begins on 1 February 2012.
JustGiving previously ran the online fundraising element of the Bupa Great North Run.
