This Way Up launch unusual annual report for charity

Design agency This Way Up has produced an unusual and eyecatching annual report in a calendar format for London youth housing charity Patchwork.

Patchwork’s Fundraising and Communications Manager Clare Haynes commented on the new format: “Annual reports can be dry, but we want ours to reflect our organisation’s vitality. It highlights some of our success stories. The user-friendly spiral bound format invites people to flick through and read, whilst the calendar format is aimed to be kept, used and a reminder of our role in London to those who commission our services. It reflects our approach to providing practical applications and solutions.”

The report builds on the iconic brand identity This Way Up created for Patchwork in 2000, when the identity was created in response to changes in the funding mechanism for care-based organisations, which has lead to increased competition in the housing sector. The report is aimed at potential commissioning boroughs, partners and stakeholders, but will also act as a year-long marketing tool.
