Trinity Hospice receives £500,00 from Department of Health

Howard Lake | 9 April 2007 | News

Trinity Hospice, based on Clapham Common, has been awarded £500,000 by the Department of Health as part of its Dignity in Care for Older People programme.

The funding will be used for its In-patient Redevelopment Project, a £10 million 28-bed in-patient centre which is due for completion in summer 2008.

Anne Hooper, Chief Executive, explained: “The award is doubly welcome because, quite apart from the £10 million required to build the new in-patient centre, we need to raise over £4 million each year to cover our running costs.”
