Winners announced of first awards for data insight driven fundraising

This week saw the first awards for insight driven fundraising, presented by the Institute of Fundraising’s Insight Special Interest Group. The volunteer-run group promotes and shares best practice in funding using insight for data analysis.
The Awards were presented at a gala dinner at The Bank Westminster. The judges were chaired by Gavin Grant, CEO of the RSPCA. Age UK won two of the six categories.
Steven Dodds, Insight in Fundraising Chair and Planning Partner at united said: “To recognise and record the impact of fundraising insight is a significant step forward for the sector. For the first time, the very best practice has been collected together, representing the definitive guide to fundraising insight methods and application. These case studies will be an important stepping stone towards the more impactful use of insight by charities.”
