Battersea Dogs’ Home has been announced as the Telemarketing Champion in the Marketing 1999 awards.

Battersea Dogs’ Home has been announced as the Telemarketing Champion in the Marketing 1999 awards. The charity ran an automated, interactive voice response campaign to tie in with its appearance in a series of BBC TV programmes in December 1998. During January and February new homes were found for 1191 dogs and 467 cats, a considerable increase on 1998. Donateds increased by 100% during the broadcasts.
