A new fund accompanies the 2022 GSK IMPACT Awards

The 2022 GSK IMPACT Awards are now open for applications from health charities, and for the first time they are accompanied by a second fund which is designed to support smaller charities.
The GSK IMPACT Awards are funded by GSK and managed in partnership with The King’s Fund. Now in their 25th year, the Awards provide core funding and free training for charities “doing excellent work to improve people’s health and wellbeing”.
Funding and free training to the winners
Up to 20 awards will be made, ranging from £4,000 to £50,000, together with free training and development valued at a further £9,500. The winning organisations will also have a film made, receive help with press and publicity, and be given a set of promotional materials.

They also give organisations access to a free leadership programme, designed specifically for health charities, provided by The King’s Fund. After taking part in the training, organisations can then join the Fund network of health charities which supports ongoing service and organisational development.
The awards are judged by a panel of judges and provide national recognition for the winning organisations.
To enter the awards organisations must be at least three years old, work in a health-related field in the UK, and have an annual income of between £120,000 and £3 million.
New GSK Grow Programme – core funding and training for health charities
To mark the GSK IMPACT Awards’ 25th anniversary and in response to the continuing challenges faced by charities as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic, GSK and The King’s Fund have increased their funding and launched the new GSK Grow Programme.
Designed to help very small charities, it is open to charities with a total annual income of between £20,000 and £120,000. Up to 10 charities will receive £10,000 in unrestricted funding plus training and development valued at £3,200.

We want people to bring their unique blend of experiences, backgrounds, perspectives and knowledge as we recognise that diversity makes us stronger.”
