Submit Your National Convention Presentation Proposal Today
Ahead of the deadline of the 12th October 2007 the Institute of Fundraising (‘Institute’) is calling on potential speakers; fundraising practitioners, managers and consultants, policy, marketing and communication professionals as well as all senior level charity personnel, to submit their proposals for next year’s National Convention.
Kirsty Thomson, Head of Events at the Institute of Fundraising, says:
What makes the Convention unique is that the content is built by fundraisers for fundraisers. In fact, this is the only UK event where the programme is put together and selected by a board of experienced senior level fundraisers.
â€We are looking for sessions that cover a broad range of fundraising topics, aimed at a delegate base with varied experience. We’re also aiming to increase the number of charity case studies and session proposals coming from experienced fundraisers.â€
Session proposals should address issues relevant to fundraising organisations and should be graded according to the level and experience of audience that the session is pitched at. All speakers should note that they are required to provide details of a reserve speaker able to present a session on their behalf in case of unforeseen circumstances.
The Convention Board will assess each proposal and all applicants will be notified by January 2008 as to whether or not their session has been selected for the programme.
Submissions can be made at www.nationalconvention.org.uk before the deadline of Friday 12 October 2007.
