Finance Hub launches funding and finance web resource

The Finance Hub has launched a new website featuring ./guidance on fundraising and managing money in the voluntary and community sector. It has been developed in particular for small voluntary and community organisations (VCOs) and people giving funding advice.

The site features six key areas offering information and advice on:

* Selling goods and services

* Loans and equity finance

* Non-money support

* Managing money and resources

The site also includes an interactive guide to funding enabling users to explore a variety of funding options.

It includes regularly updated charity sector financial news headlines from Third Sector magazine.

Russell Prior, Chair of the Finance Hub, said: “With the launch of the new website the Finance Hub is responding to an increasing demand for online information and support about funding and finance. At this critical moment we have responded to user feedback which demonstrated how material the work of the Finance Hub has been.”

The Finance Hub is funded by Capacitybuilders as part of the ChangeUp programme to increase capacity in the sector; it is one of six National Hubs offering support and information.
