Charities can now sell a wide range of cards online from their own Web site using the charitycards.co.uk system that is branded to fit in with their Web site.

Online charity card retailer charitycards.co.uk has launched a white-label version of its service. They can now offer at no charge to charities a card Web site that features the charity’s logo and colours.

Charities that use the system earn 10% commission from any card sales that they generate. They can view sales activity through a password-protected admin area.

To be clear, charitycards.co.uk are not offering to sell a charity’s own products or their own Christmas cards through the site: instead they will sell corporate/personalised cards.

As with any affiliate programme, charities need to promote it consistently to their supporters in order for it to bear fruit. Nevertheless, the widespread appeal of greetings cards to both individual and business donors could mean that this affiliate programme offers a tempting opportunity for a range of charities, whether or not they sell their own cards.
