The Millennium Stadium Charitable Trust opens for applications

Howard Lake | 31 May 2015 | News

The Millennium Stadium Charitable Trust is seeking applications from regional projects, offering grants of up to £7,500.
The Trust, established through an agreement between the Millennium Stadium plc and the Millennium Commission when the Stadium was built in Cardiff, gives grants to voluntary and charitable organisations throughout Wales. All funds distributed are given “to make a difference to people in Wales”.
It funds sporting, arts, environmental and community-based projects.
Its income is generated through a levy on every ticket purchased for public events at the Stadium.
The 23rd funding round is now open and applications to the Millennium Stadium Charitable Trust close on 29 July 2015.
The next funding round, for local projects, will open on 7 September 2015, with grants of up to £2,500 available.
All applications to the Trust must be made in a Word document format, not in PDF, for example.
