MultiMap supports Sport Relief

Online mapping service MultiMap.com is helping Sport Relief promote the venues for its fundraising events on 10 July 2004.
Multimap is providing free online mapping services to Sport Relief so that visitors to its Web site will be able to find their nearest “Go the Extra Mile” event and map their route to it.
Multimap will also give printed maps of 114 routes to participants.

MultiMap’s map of Sport Relief events highlights the fourteen largest runs, together with all other registered events. Participants or delegates can search for their nearest Mile event by entering their postcode. MultiMap then shows the nearest five venues.
With hundreds of events nationwide, Sport Relief needed an effective online mapping solution. It made sense to outsource this to one of the leading commercial players, particularly if they could be persuaded to donate their services.
