The Gateway Challenge is a four-week fundraising challenge in which organisations are tasked with raising a set amount of funds by trying out the online fundraising platform. Before the Gateway Challenge begins, GlobalGiving.co.uk will give participating charities training and support in mapping and building their networks and planning their fundraising campaign. There are also bonus prizes of up to £3,250 available for the top fundraisers. The Challenge runs from April 2nd – May 2nd 2012.
Application involves submitting a few documents online, such as a list of your key staff and trustees, your organisation’s registration/structure document, proof of bank details, and a signed copy of GlobalGiving UK Terms & Conditions.
Organisations that successfully complete the challenge will earn a permanent place on GlobalGiving.co.uk; with the facility fundraise online through the platform, gain access to fundraising tools and various learning and support initiatives including an online volunteering platform.
The deadline to apply is February 8th, 2012
