Disability charity Leonard Cheshire will receive an average of £100 for each sale that it helps generate for Gowrings
Mobility, the manufacturer and supplier of wheelchair passenger vehicles.

This partnership marks Leonard Cheshire’s first move into cause related marketing.

In addition to supplying adapted vehicles to families, charities and public sector organisations, Gowrings Mobility offers a range of mobility products including swivel seats, power wheelchairs and scooters.
A donation will be made to Leonard Cheshire for each sale of any of these products as a result of this one-year partnership.

In addition to this, Leonard Cheshire will also benefit from prizes for auctions, employee participation in fundraising events and a prominent presence at Mobility South, an exhibition and event organised and
sponsored by Gowrings Mobility.

Mark Bishop, Head of Corporate Fundraising for Leonard Cheshire, commented,
“As a charity we have held off entering into any cause related marketing initiatives till now because we’ve been determined to find the right ‘fit’… This is the first of what we hope will become a series of CRM partnerships that we will develop over the next year.”
