Big Lottery Fund launches today

The Community Fund and the New Opportunities Fund have merged to become the Big Lottery Fund.
The new fund is responsible for distributing more than half of all lottery good cause funding.
During the summer of 2004, the Big Lottery Fund will ask the public to help determine its priorities, how it will make grants, what types of programmes it will support and how it can work to deliver even more effective and efficient Lottery funding.
