New owners of fundraising.org.uk domain name

Howard Lake | 4 September 2003 | News

The fundraising.org.uk domain name has changed hands, according to Nominet, the UK Internet names association, and now belongs to the Association of Fundraising Consultants.

Originally registered on 3 November 1999, the domain was originally used by Gordon Hudson to offer a variety of non-profit services to fundraisers. In April 2000 for example, UK Fundraising reported that he offered fundraisers free Web-based e-mail addresses under the fundraising.org.uk name.

The Association of Fundraising Consultants currently operates with the afc.org.uk address. It is not currently promoting its newly acquired domain name.
