Funding webinar on offer in N Ireland

The Northern Ireland Council for Voluntary Action (NICVA) is offering a free webinar on funding as part of its annual webinar series.

Finding the right funder’ is free to members and can be accessed anywhere so long as participants have a laptop, tablet, phone or desk top computer.

The webinars are one hour long and will provide practical tips and techniques to improve your practice as well as links to valuable resources that you can follow up.

Fundraising Everywhere's Community Fundraising Conference 17 June 2026

Roisin Kelly, Skills Development Coordinator, has been using webinars for several years, said: “Webinars are a great way to communicate effectively with learners. They are easy to set up and use and mean that people are not having to travel to get involved. By doing these sessions online, participants get the key learning points and additional support in a one hour session. The added bonus is that they are free for NICVA members.”

NICVA are running other webinars in the series for 2019, including conflict management, lone working and staff performance. The funding webinar will take place on 15th May.

NICVA also runs fundraising courses and information sessions throughout the year on topics such as  exploring potential new sources of income and developing a fundraising plan or a fundraising strategy.
