FunderRoll launch to help groups raise funds by selling toilet rolls

Melanie May | 14 September 2016 | News

A company has launched that helps groups raise funds for any cause by selling toilet rolls.
FunderRoll enables groups that need a way of raising funds to order toilet rolls in bulk, and then sell them to receive up to 30% of the sale proceeds.
FunderRoll sells luxury, white, 3 ply toilet rolls in quantities of 20 rolls for £11 or 40 rolls for £20. Groups can register for an account on the FunderRoll site, and then set a target number of rolls to sell. Members of the group can then try and sell as many of the rolls as possible.
The rolls must be purchased using PayPal, debit or credit cards at the time of ordering, with the money then held securely by FunderRoll. Once the sales target has been reached or the group finishes selling, a delivery date for the toilet rolls is agreed, and the funds of up to 30% of the toilet roll order value are transferred to a bank account in the name of the cause the group is fundraising for. The process can be repeated as often as the group likes.
Lee Turner, managing director of FunderRoll said:

“We buy the rolls in bulk at a low price which enables us to share up to 30% of the sale proceeds with the fundraising group. It can be a continual process as we have chosen a product everyone needs to have, all the time.”
