Details of IoF Northern Ireland conference announced

The Institute of Fundraising in Northern Ireland has announced details of its annual conference which will take place in Belfast on 11 November.

The keynote speaker at the conference will be Meredith Niles, Interim Director of Fundraising and Retail Head of Innovation, Marie Curie Cancer Care UK who will speak on the ‘Science of influence.’

Tom Weeks, Director of Retail, Education & Charities at Ve Interactive will also be speaking about digital marketing, sharing his wealth of experience gained from working with a range of charities and organisations on their digital platforms and digital marketing activities.

Getting Started with TikTok: An Introduction to Fundraising & Supporter Engagement

Other speakers this year include representatives from Volunteer Now, The Big Lottery Fund, Cancer Research UK, The National Trust and Mencap. Topics covered will range across the full fundraising spectrum, including trusts & foundations, community and events, corporate fundraising, legacies and individual Giving.

Bursary places

The IOF has a limited number of bursary places for this year’s conference. Application forms can be downloaded from the website and should be submitted no later than 22 October 2015.

This year’s IoF Northern Ireland Fundraising conference will be held in Riddell Hall, Belfast.
