Bursary places available for N Ireland fundraising conference

The Institute of Fundraising is offering a number of bursary places to enable fundraisers from smaller charities to attend the Northern Ireland annual convention, which takes place in Belfast on 7 November.
The bursaries will be “awarded on merit” to individuals within smaller charities and community groups with a turnover of less than £250,000. Applications should be submitted by 21 October 2013.
The theme of this year’s convention is ‘Staying alive in fundraising.’
Speakers from the voluntary, corporate and statutory sectors in Northern Ireland and throughout the UK will cover topics such as crowdfunding while CLIC Sargent will discuss their capital “Homes from Homes” appeal.
Speakers include Lucy Gower, UK Fundraising’s Howard Lake, and Simon Scriver of Total Fundraising.
