Insight in Fundraising Awards 2015 open for entries

Howard Lake | 8 April 2015 | News

The 2015 Insight in Fundraising Awards are now open for entries.
This is the fourth year that the Institute of Fundraising’s Special Interest Group (SIG) for Insight in Fundraising has sought to highlight and reward the best use of data analysis and insight in fundraising.
The group is calling on all charity data analysts, data teams and insight specialists (in-house or suppliers) who are proud of their work in helping charities in achieving and excelling their fundraising goals, to submit an entry. This year categories have been re-vamped in title and scope to make entering simpler, say the organisers.
There is no charge to enter and entrants can submit work for recognition in as many relevant categories as they wish.
Jim Baggett, MD of Wood For Trees and chair of the IoF’s Insight in Fundraising SIG, said:

“It’s been another challenging year for many fundraising organisations and, despite some early signs of economic recovery, charitable donations have been under more pressure than ever. So, there’s been no shortage of incentive for charities to get creative with their fundraising strategies. I encourage those working with charity data and insight to think about and enter the great work, innovation and impact they’ve achieved in the past year”.

Once again, the winners of the Insight in Fundraising Awards 2015 will be shortlisted for the IoF National Awards – Best Use of Insight category. The award will be presented at the IoF National Awards gala dinner during the IoF National Convention in London this July.
The deadline for submitting entries is 5pm on 15 April 2015.
