Macular Society chooses John Grain Associates for in memoriam fundraising

Howard Lake | 8 February 2014 | News

Sight charity The Macular Society has appointed John Grain Associates (JGA) to help it develop its in memoriam fundraising activities.
For the past 25 years the charity has been supporting people with macular conditions, including age-related macular degeneration (AMD). As well as providing information and support they also fund research into a cure. Income is generated by membership and individuals’ donations.
JGA will work with the Macular Society on all aspects of their in memoriam programme including tribute giving.
Julie Edwards, The Macular Society’s Manager of Legacies and Giving In Memory, said, “…In-Memoriam fundraising… is a sensitive area that needs to be managed appropriately and thoughtfully to provide the best options for our supporters to pay tribute and remember loved ones that they have lost.”
