New Chair for CFDG

Charles Nall, Corporate Services Director at the Childrens’ Society, has been appointed as Chair designate at the Charity Finance Directors’ Group (CFDG), the umbrella group that specialises in helping charities to manage their finance-related functions. He will take over the Chairmanship in September for an initial two year term as Paul Breckell, currently Finance Director at Church Mission Society, steps down as Chair after a maximum term of four years.
Nall has been a CFDG trustee for one year and in that time has served as Chair of CFDG’s Public Affairs Committee. He has been a high profile and active CFDG member, and before joining as trustee Charles served on the CFDG Policy Development Working Group, drafting the sector’s response to the PPF Levy and to the EU’s proposals for the sector on money laundering and terrorism.
Nall is also Chair of the Charities Consortium.
