After a review of its Individual Giving team Action for Blind People has created two new posts. Saul Charlwood takes up the Head of Individual Marketing post, and Ian Hunt becomes Head of Fundraising Support.

Saul first joined Action for Blind People earlier this year as Regular Giving Manager, having previously worked with British Red Cross in Customer Care, with databases and with direct mail.

Ian was Action for Blind People’s Senior Database Co-ordinator for nine months, moving to Database Marketing Manager, a role which he held for over three years.

The review of the charity’s Individual Giving team identified a need for a senior manager focusing on revenue generation and one on the essential support from database and customer care teams.

Both staff will report to Andy Taylor, Director of Fundraising and Marketing.
