BBC to broadcast Cardiff stadium tsunami appeal concert live

The concert to be held on 22 January at the Cardiff Millennium Stadium to raise funds for the tsunami appeal will be broadcast live on the BBC.

The 60,000 tickets for the event, which features stars including Eric Clapton, Feeder, Charlotte Church, Stereophonics, and The Manic Street Preachers, sold out in less than four days.

A final set of 1,000 tickets, made available on Saturday afternoon, sold out in 20 minutes.

The concert will also be broadcast live online and on BBC Radio Two/BBC Radio Wales.
