Tje 60-second appeal focuses on the dangers facing children at risk on the streets, and asks viewers to commit to a small donation of just £2 per month.

Former Genesis frontman, Peter Gabriel provided the background soundtrack for the advertisement.

Martin Field, Director of Fundraising and Campaigns at The Children’s Society said: “We were very pleased with the response to The Children’s Society’s first DRTV advert and hope to build on this success. Our intention is not to shock, but to highlight the very real danger children at risk on the streets have to face. We urgently need more funds to help these children. I hope this new advert brings this message home.”
