Alliance UniChem sponsors mobile cancer information centre tour
Alliance UniChem has donated £50,000 to Macmillan Cancer Support to help fund the Mobile Macmillan Cancer Information Centre tour, which takes Macmillan’s information and support services to high streets across Britain.
The Mobile Macmillan Cancer Information Centre (MMCIC) will visit 47 town and city centre locations to offer advice and support to the public on any aspect of cancer.
Trained information specialists offer face-to-face support, and can guide visitors through the broad range of information available on the disease. The service is free, confidential and offered on an informal drop-in basis between 10am and 4pm.
