nfpSynergy surveys Gift Aid and share giving

Howard Lake | 14 December 2005 | News

Voluntary sector think-tank and research specialists nfpSynergy are running their third survey on tax-effective giving, designed to help fundraisers gain a better understanding of how charities are marketing and using Gift Aid and share giving.

NfpSynergy have previously surveyed the use of Gift Aid and other methods of tax-effective giving in 2001 and 2003. They are now running the survey again for the third time to focus on two areas of fundraising particularly affected by the government’s changes to the tax regime in recent years.

Fundraisers are encouraged to take part in the online survey, not least because all participants will get a free copy of the results. “If there is sufficient demand we will run a seminar of the results”, said nfpSynergy’s Joe Saxton.

The online questionnaire is available until 23 January 2006. All answers will be treated in confidence, say nfpSynergy.
