Amnesty aims for Christmas number one

Amnesty International UK is hoping to have a Christmas number one single to its credit with the release of a star-studded cover version of The Buzzcocks’ “Ever Fallen In Love (With Someone, You Shouldn’t ‘ve)?”

The single is a tribute to Amnesty supporter, the late John Peel.

Released today, it is performed by Roger Daltry, Jeff Beck, Elton John, David Gilmour, Robert Plant, Peter Hook, The Datsuns, The Futureheads, and original Buzzcocks vocalist Pete Shelley.
