Why your supporters are wealthier than you expect. Course details.

New book early next year from Luke FitzHerbert

Luke FitzHerbert of the Directory of Social Change is distilling his 15 years’ experience of running the ‘Effective Fundraising’ training course into “an informal guide” in fundraising, due for publication February 2004.

“Effective Fundraising: An informal guide” by Luke FitzHerbert will be a new starter guide for fundraisers, based on one of the Directory of Social Change’s (DSC) most established and popular courses. It will be published in February 2004 by the DSC.

In the book FitzHerbert will show you how to identify the right funding sources for your cause, think creatively and practically about your fundraising, and be informed and successful in your approach.

It will include case studies from some of the many hundreds of organisations that FitzHerbert has trained. It will be aimed at newcomers to fundraising, or those with experience of only one aspect of the art, and at the smaller or medium-sized organisation.

Although not published until next year, you can pre-order it from DSC via the UK Fundraising Bookshop. The price is expected to be £7.95.
