Charities might cry “foul” in terms of intellectual property theft, but many publishers are choosing to work with rather than against these aggregators. But of course, presenting your charity’s information on another site could affect some of the current income streams such as banner advertising. On the other hand, if these companies are offering better, more relevant services than your charity can, should you be standing in your donors’ way?
Visit Yodlee.com and OnePage.com to see examples of this trend in action. Do you see threat or opportunity?
