But there’s another issue that needs tackling which, if unaddressed, will also seriously compromise the quality of your donor data. The nation’s telephone numbering system is being changed – yes, again. We’ve had the much-heralded Phone Day, which itself followed a major renumbering session a few years before, and now we’ve got Numberchange.
So, if you have telephone data for your supporters, you could do yourself a favour by visiting the Numberchange Web site. There you’ll find details of which numbers are changing and when. Of course, there is a Freephone number to call for further information – 0808 22 4 2000.
