The Guardian will be presenting their recently published Fundraising Expectations research results on the first day of the Institute of Fundraising’s London Region Conference.
Fundraising Expectations has been produced by the Guardian, in association with the Institute of Fundraising, to explore the recruitment challenges facing the fundraising profession. It gives insight into the key recruitment and retention issues as well as how organisations can best attract talent from outside the voluntary sector.
Places at this additional session are free but you need to book a place by sending details of your name, job title and organisation to

The Institute of Fundraising London Region Conference takes place on 30 November and 1 December at the Inmarsat building in London. This new event, which UK Fundraising is helping to sponsor, is designed to be an inspiring and educational event for fundraisers.
The latest guest speaker to be announced is Stella Maravanyika, who has been involved in community development work for the past 37 years, first in her native Zimbabwe and then, from 2002, in London. Through a variety of roles she has worked on women’s empowerment and children’s rights projects, justice and peace programmes and with Aids orphans.
She will be sharing her experiences at the end of day 1 at a drinks reception.
There are different
delegate rates, including reduced rates for small charities, starting from £130 for a two-day pass.
