You can now monitor the progress of GuideStar programmes around the world through the GuideStar Google map. Background information is provided for each country. The map shows three categories – GuideStar launched, GuideStar in development and Country mapped. Select a country from the drop down list, and check out the current status.

GuideStar aims to add to the map for more countries and requests your help if your country is not yet included in the map. You can complete the GSI Questionnaire or leave a comment to let GuideStar know what the civil society sector looks like in your country.
I note that although GuideStar UK plans to include charities in Scotland and Northern Ireland, this is not mentioned in the drop down list. In the Republic of Ireland, a pilot website was built.
