Howard Lake | 7 October 2007 | News

The Lloyds TSB Foundation for England and Wales has given £4,963,871 in grants to 258 charities in the July to September Q3 period as it continues to support charities that help disadvantaged people to play a fuller role in their community.

Charities receiving funding include support services for ex-offenders, disabled people and disadvantaged families. Awards are given through two seperate programmes, the Community Open Programme and the Community Priority Programme.

Following last year’s themed programme focusing on ex-offenders, the Foundation has continued to support funding requests through the Community programme from charities supporting prisoners and ex-offenders including the Flying Gorillas and the Shannon Trust.
