RSPCA increases telephone donor acquisition budget by 50%
The RSPCA has increased its investment in telephone donor acquisition by 50% following two years working with Brighton-based agency Personal Telephone Fundraising.
PTF first tested recruiting new regular donors by telephone for the animal welfare charity in 2004. Louise Richmond, Acquisition Manager at the RSPCA said: “This source of new donors is very important to the RSPCA, and our investment in 2007 represents our faith in the quality of the donors brought on board by PTF using the telephone. Average values have been high, and attrition has been favourable in comparison to alternative methods of donor recruitment.
PTF has also been retained by the RSPCA for 2007 for all donor retention and development activity, including legacy telemarketing.
