Free online auction opportunity for Nicest Job in Britain applicants
The Nicest Job in Britain saw more than 100 charity applications in 72 hours earlier this month, with entry remaining open until 30th March.
In response, scheme sponsor Givergy has announced that, once entries close, it will select one charity from the scheme’s applicants to receive a free online auction. The lot will be hosted on Givergy.com as an online consumer auction to raise funds for the winning charity.
Any UK registered charities can apply or be nominated for a 2016/17 visit from the scheme, which will help 40 charities with their digital and media communications, and with generating positive media exposure through a visit from its national philanthropy manager. Last year saw national philanthropy manager Luke Cameron help 45 charities across the UK.
The deadline for applications is 30th March and charities can apply at Nicest Job in Britain. The shortlist will be announced in April.
Givergy’s global director of business development, Jon Douglas said:
“We’ve been so thrilled with the initial response that we wanted to offer this free lot to one lucky charity as a thank you for everyone’s interest in the campaign.”
