The Nicest Job in Britain is looking for its next round of UK charities to help over the next year.
The Nicest Job In Britain is looking for 40 charities, each of which will receive a visit from its National Philanthropy Manager. The Nicest Job in Britain launched last year and aims to help drive positive awareness and engagement for the charities it works with as well as charitable brand engagement from corporate sponsors.
Each charity and organisation receives help where they need it – from fundraising initiatives, to media campaigns, and decorating a workspace. Last year, the Nicest Job in Britain worked with 45 charities, including Young Epilepsy (pictured), Bliss, Great Western Air Ambulance, and YMCA, and saw National Philanthropy Manager Luke Cameron help with everything from helping disabled people ski, mailing schools for a children’s theatre company, cleaning beaches, and redistributing surplus food to charities across London.
As well as visiting the charities, Cameron has also written a weekly blog on his experiences, relaunched The Nicest Job in Britain as a not-for-profit initiative and secured sponsorship from Givergy to part-fund the year ahead.
“Our impact has been in the positive PR generated for the charities we work with. Having over 130 online articles, global press including an ITV 1 prime time documentary – we are able to showcase the incredible work so many charitable organisations do in this country.”
Any UK registered charity can apply or be nominated, with a shortlist to be announced in April. The deadline for applications is the 30th March 2016 and charities can apply at http://www.nicestjobinbritain.co.uk/charities/
