Institute of Fundraising Wessex Regional Group to be dissolved

The Wessex Regional Group of the Institute of Fundraising is to be dissolved and its members redistributed between the South East and South West regional groups.
The dissolution follows the decision by Rebekah McGill, who has chaired the Wessex Regional Group over the last three to four years, to stand down due to increasing pressure of her work commitments.
The Institute of Fundraising has agreed, on her recommendation, to dissolve the Wessex Group. Members in Hampshire will be placed in the South East group and Members in Dorset and Wiltshire will be placed in the South West.

On announcing the change the Institute publicly thanked Rebekah for her support of fundraisers throughout Wessex through email briefings and the provision of training over the last few years.
