JumbleAID is a new website that lets individuals and businesses post details online of things that they no longer want or need and anyone can pledge a donation in return for an item.

The site’s founders aim to help reduce the volumes being dumped in landfill while raising funds for charities.

There is no charge to use the site and "not a penny of the donation goes to JumbleAID".

The payments are handled by Charities Trust Account, a registered charity and the second largest HM Customs & Revenues-approved Payroll Giving Agency. They also add Gift Aid where applicable and distribute the funds, less transaction charges to the nominated charities.
