HRH The Duchess of Cornwall to become hospice patron
HRH The Duchess of Cornwall has agreed to become the Royal Patron of Trinity Hospice in London.
Trinity Hospice, founded by William Hoare of the Hoare banking family in 1891, is the UK’s oldest hospice and has a proud tradition of Royal Support. HM Queen Elizabeth the Queen Mother was Patron for 76 years, and took an active interest in the Hospice’s work.
Viscount Linley has also been, and remains, a Patron of Trinity. He is currently working as a volunteer with Trinity’s fundraising and project committee to plan and deliver a proposed new £10 million in-patient centre at the Hospice’s Clapham North Side home.
