McCannah said: I am delighted to be elected as the chair of the ALG Grants Committee. I look forward to working closely with the voluntary sector, especially as we move towards the commissioning of services.

The ALG Grants Committee in partnership with the boroughs aims to support and promote a vibrant voluntary sector that serves Londoners needs.

The ALG is one of the largest funders of London’s voluntary sector, providing around £28m a year to more than 400 groups.
