Research into Ageing is launching its new appeal in Preston this week with the support of the University of Central Lancashire and Lancaster University.

The One for All Appeal, based in Manchester, aims to raise £1 million to fund six new research fellowships at universities in the North West.

Professor Peter Toyne, former Vice Chancellor of Liverpool John Moores University and Chairman of Liverpool’s successful Capital of Culture bid team, is the Appeal’s Chairman.

The Appeal will then be launched in Manchester at the University of Manchester’s Incubator Building on Grafton Street on 4 November, and in Liverpool on 18 November.
