War Child has received an extra £133,934 raised by players of People’s Postcode Lottery, bringing the total amount received this year to £233,934.
This additional funding will help War Child could reach a further 10,000 children through its child protection and education projects.
War Child CEO Rob Williams commented:
“We help thousands of children each year to catch up on the education which conflict denied them, and thousands of families to find ways to keep their children safe even in the middle of a crisis. To me this feels like a special mission. So I’d like to extend a big thank you to players of People’s Postcode Lottery for helping us along the way.”
People’s Postcode Lottery is an External Lottery Manager and manages multiple society lotteries promoted by different causes supporting a range of good causes.
