Digital fundraising specialists Capen have announced Zaffo, a new raffle, lottery and prize draw fundraising platform. The service lets charities, clubs, companies and individuals fundraise with raffles and prize draws online.
The platform is mobile optimised, and its Zaffo: Embed functionality means that campaigns can be incorporated onto any website. As a result the secure payments take place on your charity’s domain, without forcing the player to leave your site.
Fundraisers can promote their raffles and lotteries through the platform’s social media and email links.
The platform is built to handle over 50 simultaneous transactions and over 1,000 concurrent users.
Capen CEO Simon Rydings said:

“There are millions of charity supporters online but no way for charities sell tickets effectively and cheaply. We wanted to create a platform that could be easily accessible for anyone, anywhere in the world.”

The agency behind Zaffo is a licensed lottery operator, and has recently blogged about its take on some of the advertising legalities that online lotteries and raffles must adhere to.
and helps clients create and manage fundraising campaigns. Based in London it also lets clients fundraise in multiple currencies.
The basic package is free to set up with no monthly fees, and a 15% management and processing charge. There are two other payment packages, with a £500 or £1,500 setup.
